Bruleed Apricot and Almond Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cup Rolled Oats
  • ½ Cup Almond Milk Plain or Vanilla
  • 1 Scoop Girl & The Sea Marine Collagen or other collagen/protein powder of your choice
  • 1 Apricot Halved with pit removed
  • ½ Tbsp Butter Or Ghee
  • ½ Tsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Raw Almonds Chopped or Sliced

Instructions
 

  • In a small skillet, heat up the butter over medium heat.
  • Sprinkle the apricot halves with the brown sugar and then place, flesh side down, into heated butter to brulee. Cook about 4-5 minutes or until browned.
  • While apricot is cooking, add the rolled oats, almond milk, and collagen powder into a small saucepan and heat over low-medium heat until it starts to bubble slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir periodically until it reaches your desired consistency, about another 1-2 minutes.
  • Top the oatmeal with bruleed apricot halves and chopped almonds to serve.
