Easter is just around the corner and I wanted to put together a list of some of our favorite recipes on the blog for your Easter Sunday celebrations! Every family celebrates differently. Some do an elaborate Easter dinner while others opt for a simpler Easter brunch. I’ve included some of our favorite recipes that fit for either option. Happy celebrating and happy cooking!
Dinner Options:
A classic roast is always a great crowd-pleasing Easter option. While a beef tenderloin or ham are more typical Easter recipes, we are huge fans of a roasted leg of lamb. This preparation with a Mediterranean herb crust is super flavorful and pairs great with so many side dish options! It’s also great for leftover sandwiches the next day.
Paella may seem like an odd Easter recipe choice, but hear us out! It’s a great option to feed a crowd, if you can get a pan large enough. We use this one from Lodge and cook it over our Breeo outdoor fire pit with the grill attachment. It’s a great way to cook while mingling outdoors enjoying some snacks and wine or sangria before eating al fresco. We’ve done paella for so many celebrations in the family and it’s always a huge favorite. You can customize it with whatever protein you prefer so you can do chicken or pork instead of seafood, if needed.
If you feel like tackling a fun cooking project, these homemade ravioli scream Springtime! The peas, pistachios, lemon, mint and ricotta are the perfect ode to the season and just what Easter dinner called for.
Side Dishes:
This is always a favorite casserole side dish option! It’s great to bring if you are attending an Easter potluck and need a side. We actually made this with store bought gnocchi so it was incredibly easy but tastes so rich and delicious.
These are a great option if you want something different than the usual roasted potatoes. The “fondant” preparation creates a crispy exterior and a soft interior, giving it the perfect texture.
Who doesn’t like macaroni and cheese right? This is great for the kiddos and this recipe can be made with or without the lobster added.
Brunch Options:
This is such a unique recipe and one that has been passed down in the Migoni family. It’s of Brazilian origin and is so dangerously delicious. It’s a labor of love but will absolutely be a crowd pleaser. Think of it as a cross between cinnamon rolls and a tres leches cake with extra cinnamon! This would make a great addition to an Easter brunch spread.

Spanish Tortilla de Papa (Spanish Potato Omelette)
A Spanish omelette is one of our favorite orders at any Spanish tapas restaurant but it’s fairly simple to recreate at home too. It is great hot or cold, make it a great option for a brunch spread. I recommend to pair it with a garlicky aioli for dipping.
A quiche is always a great Easter brunch option! Instead of the simple ham and cheese, this one uses collard greens and caramelized onions to pack a punch of flavor.
Happy early Easter! Hope this round up of Easter recipes is helpful for some cooking inspiration.
