Low Carb Buffalo Shrimp with Blue Cheese

Ingredients
  

Buffalo Shrimp

  • 1 Pound Shrimp Peeled, Deveined, preferably larger shrimp
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
  • ¼ Cup Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce

Blue Cheese Dressing

  • 2 Ounces Blue Cheese Crumbles Plus some additional for topping
  • ½ Cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoon Kosher Salt

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients for the blue cheese dressing in a food processor and pulse until combined. Can also be done by hand with a whisk. Set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over high heat. Toss shrimp in canola oil to coat.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add the shrimp and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Be sure not to overcrowd the shrimp to ensure they brown well.
  • Heat the wing sauce in a microwave proof container for about 30 seconds.
  • Toss the seared shrimp in the warmed up buffalo sauce and serve with the blue cheese dressing. Top with some additional blue cheese crumbles, if desired.
