Have you been procrastinating on your Christmas shopping like us?! Have any foodies or amateur chefs in your family? Check out this list of our favorite gift ideas under $150.

  1. Shun Chef’s Knife ($144.95 at Sur La Table)
    • Having a good quality chef’s knife is vital for everyday cooking tasks and Shun is one of our favorite brands!
    • The classic 8 inch chef’s knife is our favorite all around knife. It’s a little pricey, but if you take good care of your knife, it will last a lifetime!

  2. Riedel Glassware ($89.99 each at William Sonoma)
    • The perfect gift for the wine lover on your list! Riedel consistently produces some of best wine glasses on the market!
    • Add a bottle of wine and you have the perfect gift.
    • They make different wine glasses for different types of wine, but seeing that we have a liking for French wines, the Grand Cru Burgundy glass is one of our favorites.
    • They also sell great lower end sets of glasses at Target!

  3. Felt & Fat Plates ($62 for Standard Dinner Plate)
    • For your foodie friend who loves to take photos of their food! These plates photograph beautifully and make your food stand out!
    • These gorgeous plates are handmade in Philadelphia and used in many restaurants, but why not bring a little extravagance to your own dinner table!
    • They are currently offering a large “mystery box” filled with several of their items for $100. Their standard dinner plates run about $60 each.
    • If you live in Dallas, check out Set & Co, a gorgeous shop in Oak Cliff, where you can see some their gorgeous plate ware in person

  4. “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” by Julia Child ($57.97 on Amazon)
    • One of our favorite cookbooks to reference, Julia Child does an amazing job of giving detailed instructions in every one of her recipes. It’s a classic cookbook with an extensive number of recipes!
    • Perfect gift for any food lover

  5. Lodge Cast Iron Skillet ($35 at Sur La Table)
    • This is a workhorse in our kitchen! We have a variety of pots and pans but there are SO many things that you can cook in a cast iron skillet!
    • We especially like the look and feel of Lodge. I recommend the 12 inch for the most versatility
    • Similar to the knife, if you take good care of your cast iron, it will last a lifetime!

  6. Epicurean Pizza Cutter ($22 at Sur La Table)
    • For the pizza lover in your life, why use a boring pizza cutter when you can use this great design!
    • We’ve used it on all types of pizza crusts and slice it perfectly in seconds

  7. Silpat Baking Mats ($18 for a half sheet size on Amazon)
    • For the baker on your list, Silpat mats are a must! Nothing sticks to them and they allow for even baking for even the most finicky of baking items (i.e. macarons!)
    • You don’t even need to grease them before using plus they are beyond easy to clean.

  8. Joseph Joseph Garlic Rocker ($14.95 at Sur La Table)
    • A perfect stocking stuffer! We cook with garlic almost every day and have found other garlic presses messy and hard to clean. This design is super simple, easy to use, and inexpensive.

  9. Bon Appetit Magazine Subscription (1 year for $12 on Bon Appetit website)
    • Over half of the recipes we make come from Bon Appetit! We have yet to be steered wrong by one of their recipes.
    • Who doesn’t love getting FUN mail these days? Why not give the foodie in your life the gift of great recipes in their mailbox every month.

  10. Tovolo Sphere Ice Molds ($9.99 on Amazon)
    • The perfect gift for any cocktail fanatic and another great stocking stuffer!
    • We love these for an Old Fashioned and other whiskey drinks. It keeps your drink cold without diluting it.

✈️ Travel is a priority for us...but we know it’s not cheap.
We made this mistake on our first flight with our toddler…
We spent 7 days with our 4 year old (and I was 15 weeks pregnant), and this trip ended up being the perfect mix of adventure and slow beach 🏝️ days
Looking back, the best thing we did on this trip was SLOW down.
We spent 10 days in Italy 🇮🇹 with our 5 year old and 7 month old - and it ended up being one of our favorite trips as a family
✨A little March recap✨
