We are so excited to share with you our partnership with a new company, Global Grub. It’s a brand new concept that helps you tackle global cooking adventures without a fuss in your own kitchen. They have different “kits” available that come with all the necessary, and sometimes hard to find, ingredients you need to create your meal. Examples include DIY Sushi, Tamales, and Tagine.

We opted to try the DIY Ravioli kit, because it comes with your own bottle of truffle oil (!!). It also included the perfect amount of double 00 flour, a ravioli stamp, and dried porcini mushrooms. Add in a few pantry staples, like eggs, cheese, salt, and pepper, and your ready to get started! The best part about these kits is that they still allow you to be creative and add some of your own flair to it. The recipe included with the kit gave instructions on a simple preparation, drizzling the ravioli with truffle oil and sea salt. If you are not the most adventurous in the kitchen, you can stop there, and enjoy a very tasty meal. However, if you’re crazy like us, you can still create a unique dish while following their instructions. We made a simple cream sauce with wild mushrooms and black garlic that we served with the ravioli. To add some crunch, we baked a few thin pieces of prosciutto in the oven until they got crisp. We broke them into large “chips” and used them to top off the cream. Finished with a drizzle of the truffle oil and some shaved parmesan cheese, it was a spectacular dish!

While you can get creative, keep in mind the instructions they include are easy to follow, even if you’ve never tackled homemade pasta, and include options for those that don’t have a pasta maker or stand mixer. It makes the process seamless and above all, fun! I highly encourage you to check out their website and scroll through some of their kits (www.globalgrub.com). The holidays are right around the corner and these kits make awesome gifts for all of your foodie friends and family! Use code “migonikitchen” for 10% off your kit.

✈️ Travel is a priority for us...but we know it’s not cheap.
We made this mistake on our first flight with our toddler…
We spent 7 days with our 4 year old (and I was 15 weeks pregnant), and this trip ended up being the perfect mix of adventure and slow beach 🏝️ days
Looking back, the best thing we did on this trip was SLOW down.
We spent 10 days in Italy 🇮🇹 with our 5 year old and 7 month old - and it ended up being one of our favorite trips as a family
✨A little March recap✨
